Donny: Just an FYI… the iTunes audio file cuts off at 54:43. The download from the website ends correctly at 57:54.

Great show though, keep up the good work!

Looks ok, on my iTunes, delete and re-download if you can. I will have someone also do a check and see if we are good.

      Thanks for the heads up…

      Sandy

Ahhh, strange. It works fine on my iPhone. (I had previously downloaded and re-downloaded it with my old iPod Touch).

Anyway, I’m sure it’s on my end. Thanks for looking into it! Looking forward to your guys’ live show in a few minutes

Another great podcast, thanks for all the hard work guys.

    • CarCast February 9, 2010

Your most welcome! It’s hard work tossing it together, but also a lot of fun!

      Thanks

      Sandy

    Hey Donny,

When do you guys post the video when Adam goes outside? I usually blow past it on my ipod so I can watch it on your website cause I don’t like being called a retard by Adam for listening to that segment. Thanks, Brian

    • CarCast February 6, 2010

It is usually up by Monday, I think it is actually done just need Donny to upload it.

    Hey Guys,

Just want to let you know you’re doing an excellent job with this and the ACE podcast as well. Been listening on my ipod for the last six months every night as I go to sleep but thought I’d check out your website. Blown away – outstanding. Extremely entertaining, imformative, and even a little addictive to this aging boomer.

Keep up the good work; will be sponsoring your efforts by purchasing your ‘double-header’ shows, its too easy not to. I’m sure your success will continue to escalate and some day you’ll be glad you never had to do any else but chase your passions while making a boat load of money doing it.

I assume you wanted by mailing address above and my email address but not too sure what Website means. Maybe too much smoke in the last 40 years, but doing my best. Take care, Mahalo …

      Gary –

      Thanks for the nice comments!

The website field on the comments is a place where, if you have a website of your own you can put it in as a reference.

Hey Donnie, take a look at picture 20 of 25 on the first page. I think you made a little error in the description. I liked it when Adam mocked Transformers for not describing the engine correctly but I don’t think he should have to do the same for his own website.

    • Eric February 8, 2010

Nope, my mistake. I should have paid more attention, carry on.

    • CarCast February 8, 2010

      Nice try 😉

Seriously I do make typos and it’s usually 3am when doing the one liner descriptions and sometimes they get botched. So if you do find them please let us know and unlike the movie we will correct then 🙂

got a questioin i have a 05 titan and im thinking about putting a k and n cool air intake. i heard it will help with gas mileage and power is it worth it sandy thanks in advance.

    • CarCast February 8, 2010

It might a bit, but don’t count on it moving it very much. You may get a bit more power, but again, it will be minimal. I ‘generally’ use this rule of thumb, if it’s easy to do you don’t get much for it. The K&N filters are good, and you can reuse them so you can offset the cost of the kit a bit. It’s a good easy modification that if you looking for a project is a good start.

    Adam, Sandy,

I sure appreciate the Car Cast. I’ve always been an admirer of the new Challenger, and this Hurst edition definitely makes me feel like writing some bad checks…

Do you have any pictures of your Miura under construction? I’m curious to see how it looks, and at what stage its in.

    Thanks a lot guys,

    Chris

    • CarCast February 9, 2010

I have a few, but I think we are going to hold for the ‘Miura’ show when we finally get it back. I know it’s close to being done, if not done now.

Love the shows!!! Listening to both “The Adam Carolla Podcast” and “Carcast” has become a daily routine. I even listened to all of the previous podcasts that were aired before I discovered them. I just bought the “Keeping The Lights On” live podcast to…well…keep the lights on…and the podcasts flowing.

I had to laugh when Adam commented on how he has never pulled over to the side of the road to adjust his coil-overs or sway bars on his sports cars. Why….Because I have a 2004 Infiniti G35 coupe that I special ordered new so I could not have a sunroof and extra goodies. I just wanted the Brembos and Sport Tuned suspension. Well, around four years later I ordered the Nismo S-Tuned suspension from Japan for my car and was scoffed at for spending that kind of money on a non-adjustable suspension. Who am I, Michael Andretti!!! I don’t know how to drive so well that I can tune a suspension. Let me put on something the factory knows works and won’t fuck up my alignment too much or bust my end links because my sway bars are too stiff.

The new 2011 Mustang 5.0 is tempting me now. Maybe in a couple of years I can convince my wife I can keep the G and get a Mustang too…mmmm.

I also agree that putting huge rims on your car…only to make the brakes look like they belong on a Yugo is retarded.

Again…great job everyone on the podcasts. I hope you keep them coming for a long time…especial Carcast:)

    • CarCast February 9, 2010

Thanks for the kind words. Non adjustable suspension is just fine, I keep thinking that I’ll work on The Ripper’s suspension but then I think what’s the point I can gain so much more by first learning how to drive!

I’ll pass along the word to the rest of the CarCast crew as well.

  10. Keith February 17, 2010

Are we ever getting the video’s for this carcast? Video for 2/14/10 is up already, but not yet for 2/6/10… should I just listen to the audio and forget about the video?

If I remember correctly from skipping through the audio, there was supposed to be video of the Hurst cars, AND some video from the car show event you guys went to a couple weeks back.

    Keith

    • CarCast February 17, 2010

The video was posted on the other story where we tour the cars outside, I just forgot to post the link here. It is now up. I think we may be missing one video, not sure if we will get to it given the work load right now. Which one are you looking to see?

      Sandy
