hey adam, maybe if you hire corey feldman and monica lewinsky to ball room dance on top of a ’70 Dart Swinger NBC will get a hard on and pay for a new pilot.

Love the car cast! Jay’s car collection is about having stupid-money, like the Howard Hughes and aircraft. It’s pure genius, but I think, Christ what’s all that cost and is really better than Vida’s ass. I really like Sandy’s story about his big block chevelle, sounds like the moronic shit my buddies and I did. We funded two beaters like his by swapping gas motors into those Caddies with diesels for bigger idiots with money.

Great show. I just watched Jay Leno on Top Gear being interviewed by another gearhead…Jeremy Clarkson. Top Gear is a great show. Car cast is a great podcast. Perhaps we’ll see Adam on Top Gear soon (at least the english version).

I LOVE Carcast! Such a great idea and very well executed! This would make for a great TV show. I love seeing the cars. The interviews are very entertaining. There is a lot of knowledge to gain from listening this podcast. Thanks so much Adam. Great camera work as well. I look forward to this every weekend as I work on my car in the garage. It fits nicely with my weekend car shows lineup! Get it on!

Keep up the great work. I really enjoy both of the shows you are doing. I am happy to finally hear the tone of one of the cars you have on the video and show. Especially when you have some of the more exotics and one off cars, I doubt I am alone when I say you should fire them up for us all to be able to hear. Not all of us have the resources to be able to play with those great toys.

Carcast is high calliber, entertaining, informative, well executed and totally worthwhile. I feel this project should continue, no matter what it is costing Mr. Adam Carolla. LOL, $10,000 a month for bandwidth!
Adam, thank you so much for both pod casts!

    great video.
my only suggestion is to get rid of the back ground music. its distracting. no need for it.

    great job on the carcast.
    keep them coming.

Every time Leno says “carbon fiber” I just think: DENIM!

Does Jay Leno ever not wear denim shirts and jeans?

I like how Jay classed it up with his Canadian tuxedo.

I don’t know anything about cars, but I love the Carcast. I could identify, though, when Adam said something about “pump the gas twice but don’t flood the engine.” Reminded me of my first car, a ’75 Nova. My dad was always yelling at me that I didn’t know how to start the car properly, that I wasn’t “setting up the carburetor” right and that’s why it was stalling out. I know I did flood the engine a number of times. Ugh. I was never so happy when fuel injection became the standard.

so glad to see more video up here! I hope it someday turns into full episodes of video, but given the fact that all this is coming out of Adam’s pocket, this is fantastic! Bandwidth costs would probably be too high to do all of carcast in video, given how much he already pays for bandwidth for the regular podcast. Get some sponsors Adam, video would be great! (listen to an episode of Leo Laporte’s TWIT- he’s nailed down how to monetize podcasting (or at least not lose money on bandwidth costs) and the ads really aren’t a bother to the listeners, as they incorporate them into the show. Get some sponsors that would pay you to recommend their products for car work. (A favorite brand of tools, for instance?) Sponsors are willing to pay when you have a focused and dedicated audience like you do here!
    Keep up the good work!

Car Cast is superb. My wife couldnt believe I was out washing and Armour Alling my 96 Jeep Cherokee yesterday. Since I started listening to Car Cast I want to start keeping my 3 cars up to snuff. Great idea and show to all the Carolla Crue. Thanks.
