these guys have no idea about the…sounds better stock imo..Is it a diesel??hahahaha lmao..not car guys at all..fail of a show..and sad for the r32 to be represented so poorly when its certainly more fun than any audi hes driven

Please wikipedia Sarcasm and Humor it may help you understand the show better. Did anyone else not get the ‘humor’???

They were joking about the diesel. And Adam’s driven an R8 for Top Gear, so the “fun” part is at the very least debatable.

    • CarCast August 7, 2010

And Adam’s daily driver is an S4 AWD fun car too (But I’ll take the R8…)

Wow, I like the sound of that. I will definitely look into getting a system for my Audi.

It sounded much better in person, I was not at all expecting the R32 to sound as good as it did. Very cool car and according to David very reliable and fun. Too bad they did not make them in more quantity.

I love the show and listen all the time but I can never get these videos to work. Arggghhh.

    • CarCast August 9, 2010

Steve what is the issue you are having with the videos? Buffering too much? Can’t play on phone? Let me know as this is good feedback for the guys at Motorator so that they can fix the issues if they are having any.

        Sandy,
I was trying to play the video on my laptop with IE, Firefox and Chrome. None worked. Got home and they play just fine. My employer must be blocking something. All is good. Keep up the good work.

Just to let you know, 04 R32 comes with the butterfly valve in the exhaust also that opens up around 4K RPM. If you remove the vacuum line and plug it up… it sounds just as nice as the Borla exhaust- for free. Great cars, own one myself.

  6. Dale August 11, 2010

Borla is a great exhaust for a Subaru. I have a Saabaru (Saab 92x) that i want to run a three inch exhaust with the borla hush on the end. Not really sure why they call it the hush though, still pretty loud. Anyway awsome carcast and a big fan of borla. Bigger fan of Adam and Sandy, keep up the good work. And why not 2 carcasts a week? I listen to adams podcast at work every night and would love to be able to add an extra carcast a week.

david really knows nothing and or lied. the r32 comes with a butterfly valve, stock. i could not tell the difference between the borla and stock exhaust. the r32 is not really ‘quiet before we put the exhaust on’. he didnt even know if the engine was transmounted?

  8. Mike August 12, 2010

Would rather have not seen this on CarCast. Stock is quiet? WTF?!?!? Don’t disrespect the .:R guys!

Who cares if Adam didn’t know s*** about R32s. It’s not a car he thinks… Hmm, I know Porsche just released their new 911, but I think I’m going to go look at an 04 R32. Borla really ought to of brought more to the table.. It wasn’t even the newer R32, which is still pretty lame.

I was pretty happy to hear that someone brought an R32 to the Carcast… I don’t think that David was really bringing over a show car, this is his daily driver. I laughed a little at the jokes and was sort of surprised that David didn’t know the R better but whatevs….. the point of these bits is to check out some cars, and have some laughs….the best part of loving cars and meeting other like minded people.
