nice show today, but would’ve liked to see more Pics of the Bel Air. they talked about it for a wile, giving decripions of the details, and all the add-ons, would’ve liked to see them.

Donny is putting the video together with a lot of good shots of the goodies. I’ll see if he has more images for the photo gallery on the Feature Car section.

      Thanks!

Watching Editor KJ Jones segment on the Motorator site from link below. What gives with the delay on the CC site?

The videos are served directly from the Motorator, are you seeing a difference when you watch from the CarCast site vs. directly from Motorator? We have on minor difference on the link that we use, but let me know and I can talk to the Motorator folks to have them take a look at it.

      Thanks for the heads up.

      Sandy
P.S. I have checked them all from my slow home DSL and all run clean.

Just as the page reloaded from my submitting my comment the KJ video appeared on the CarCast page.

Not a concern about delay in playback but rather in the video posting as content on the host before you are allowed to serve it up.

Hope it did not come across as a complaint, you do a great job on and off the air.

The tough part is the video needs to be uploaded before we can get a link to it. We are often behind the guy to get the video out, and sometime we put it up late and pick up the links in the morning. Several of the videos were up right away, then the rest as we get them uploaded and done. Always slower then we like but working on it. Donny and I have our hands full to say the least…

Sandy, you are a veteran of Kawi triples? If you haven’t already, check out Kawasaki Triples Worldwide forum, It will really take you back.

Huge fan of the H1. Traded a Big Block Chevy for a Nickle plated H1 frame and motor that had the numbers filed off ;). Had to pick up a new motor to get it registered, lucky at the time a few were in the bike salvage yards (I think the place was called Johnson & woods) in the San Fernando Valley. The Kawasaki parts guys used to screw with me every time I went in for parts. They just shook their heads. I had no idea what they were talking about until I got on the bike. Ended up trading it up for a 1986 GSX-R 750, that bike was stolen 4 weeks after I got it. Likely saved my life ;). I think I’m out of the bike business, but if I did get one H1, or RG500 would be at the top of the list. I’ll take a look at the forum too, love that kind of stuff.

Loved this week’s episode! I really liked Adam’s story about how he got the Miura but he never explained how his broke-ass financed the Miura. I would also like to see more stuff on Diesels especially since I know Ganz has a Powerstroke! Thanks

Is there any way to get a video download on your site or maybe just get the videos up on youtube… my average watchtime on that piece of shit Motorator video engine is 21 seconds before it freezes. I’m sure every single person that tries to watch any of your car videos on a Mac is as frustrated as I am. I cant even listen to CarCast anymore because of this shit. Every time I hear you guys talk about some bad ass thing you are seeing, I just want to start kicking shit.

Can you tell me a couple of things about your hardware if you know (Model of computer at least) , and connection Wifi, direct, etc. I can send this along to see if this should be happening based on some minimal information. Otherwise can’t really help if you just rant.

Sorry about the rant, I was in a crap mood yesterday. Was putting in a stress filled 11 hour day on 4 hours of sleep. Not a good combo.

        Anyway…

I can almost assure you that this is a Motorator/New MacOS issue and not a problem on your end. I have the same problem with any Motorator video on any mac in the office running a newer OS.

Computer is a Mac pro: 3.06 ghz Core 2 Duo, 4g ram. OS 10.5.8.

Problem happens on all browsers, Firefox, Safari, and even the new Google Chrome.

Did I miss something?? No Car Cast for the 16th??? If not, I’m sure your guys took a much needed break.

      Jim –

We did one, it’s the “TMPCC Car Show”. Should see it on the home page in the scrolling window as well as this Episode. iTunes and the player also have it, so you might have just missed it.
