    Guys, awesome show!

Need to talk to some of those power tour guys. That 993 wide body is sick!

I bet adam can shave 2 secs of the laguna lap with that suspension work and race head. he should have john set up all his bre cars not just the roadster.

Sandy are you working on the Speed show too? that spectre 341challange road should be organized as an event against top gear USA or maybe the road and track guys.

    Keep it up!

    Kyle

Thanks for sharing these amazing experiences!

Hmm seeing that 240sx there makes me feel like I could have taken part.

Then seeing that 993 tells me that any time I put down would get SLAUGHTERED.

Love it. Some things have changed since when I was a kid. The tailings have eroded, and there’s a lot more green stuff. I remember some Pinion Pines but not that many.

What a rush though. Pardon me while I kiss the sky.

That 341 challenge looks like a blast. I’m definitely gonna try to at least spectate next year. Maybe even compete in the year after if i can get my car completed & sorted by then.

I love that little maverick. It always looks to me like ford desperately tried to mimic the datsun 240z, but just missed by a little bit.

btw, you can find videos of the guy who died in the porsche the year before. If i’m not mistaken he crashed while racing a porsche that had over 1000whp. His porsche was one wicked machine. It was even on the “fastest street cars” competition on speed:

    Sandy.

Any conversation sounds better with a audio track from a race behind it. I want the sound of a race car running through gears behind me whenever I talk. I hope the AC is still running and I did not cause a fire.

This was a great show – I love the track day/racing oriented shows. If you guys feel like driving a few more hours, Sears Point in Sonoma is an incredible track. Every bit the challenge of Laguna but with a very different feel and flow. Love the 610, the MIA Ripper, and all the track rats.

I do some hillclimbs out here in PA, and I can agree that it is a lot more exciting than being on a track. It probably has something to do with the danger factor. Interesting that you aren’t required to wear fire retardant clothing, or gloves of any kind. The hillclimbs that I do are far more strict with regards to safety equipment.

We also have a “Jimmy” to kind of put you at ease at the starting line.

    Great hearing of your experiences!

    Ace,

Thanks for turning me on to the IS-F. You don’t talk about it much, but just enough that I went to check one out. Despite what all the theorycrafters and magazine racers say, I absolutely loved this car the minute I hit the ignition and can’t wipe the smile off my face whenever the second stage intake opens. Add to that Toyota build quality and none of the ‘drama’ you have to deal with at a BMW dealer when something needs fixing (been there done that), it’s the perfect small sedan.
