Isn’t that the Charger Kowalski drove in ‘Vanishing Point’? Or was it a ’71? Either way, great friggin car.

  3. big jim

Looks like Kowalski drove a ’70 Dodge Challenger. Either way, great friggin movie.

What year was the Charger the hit men in Bullit drove, a ’68?

Love the diver side pic with all the flotsam and jetsam all over the carpet, for sure not a trailer queen.

I will totally agree, I would almost say I hate the hype of the Bullit Mustang, way over rated, and I heard the story that the Mustang was heavily reworked by Max Balchowsky (Of Old Yeller racing fame) to make it survive, the Dodge, pretty much stock with very little modifications to survive the shoot.

Big Warburton fan. Who can listen to Joe on the Family Guy deliver a deadpan line and not crack a smile?

Nice Charger, but somewhat pedestrian for what I assume is a man of his means. Methinks Ace and The Professor should breath on it a tad. You know, clean it up – like losing that Grant GT wheel. Ugh. Maybe a larger three spoke wood jobber (w/o rivets) a la Ganz’s Ripper. The underhood wiring/straps/hoses could use some cleanup too. Just little stuff. I’d also remove any references to R/T if it’s not one. Heck, base Chargers are more rare these days than R/T or R/T “tribute cars”. How about a cheap fix of flipping the BFG’s on the rims? I dig the ol’ school Cragars, but something about that BFG white letter script just doesn’ grab me like it did in ’89. Still, I’d take that sweet car in a heartbeat as it is (and then change it).

Good episode. I drive a 96 Jeep Cherokee that I pray starts every day. These guys are buying exotic cars to play with. Must be nice. The Professor has been taking broadcasting classes at night school I think. He is getting better on the mic. I wonder what Warburton gets in Seinfeld residuals. I bet it is nice coin unless his agent messed up. Scott…Cape Cod, Mass

Thanks for the laugh, listening to you guys talk about Mopars was so damn funny! “Professor” my ass, Ganz need to get his head out of that always busted Mustang and look around. Adam may as well be describing an alien landing craft. Great entertainment.

the man with 5 names–> pat rick war burt on
any dude who could admit he’s turned into ‘that guy’ while in a viper is alright by me.
    good show today.

Guys put TRD decals, big wheels and body kits on Camrys all day long in Cali. Thanks for calling out that BS Adam, like Toyota is really Developing the Racing potential of that car. (Don’t even give me the BS that is NASCAR, those cars have nothing to do with FWD grocery getters).
