What? I’m the first to comment on the Caprice? Donny works hard to put together a slideshow and nobody has anything to say but me? You people out raking leaves or something?
My buddy had a 74 Caprice, adult shit brown with a baby shit brown interior. We spilled a lot of bongwater in that car! I figure that no matter what you drive now, you WISH you had a car like this. Nostalgia aside, it’s the closest you can get to driving in your living room. Whisper quiet, floaty, no pothole is big enough to swearve for. One finger steering, 18″ wide brake pedal that you just touch it and all 4 lock up. Pillarless windows makes you feel like you are in a convertible. From a time when even the common man expected and got a little bit of luxury. Face it, this has more usuable space than an Explorer. I love it.
