drrr …after the motor breaks *in*…
All well and good to laugh at the Fiat motor compared to the BMW S1000RR Superbike motor in pure horsepower terms (and this is coming from a guy who owns 3 sportbikes and hasn’t owned a car since college), but the Beemer makes less than half the torque (at 10,000 revs) than the Fiat peak of 160-170. It would make for some very, very leisurely acceleration in a car that weighs 5x as much as the bike.
The Vette had a sick sounding exhaust leak, and the Countach seemed like it was missing like a bitch!
