Alpine Show Cars

September 11, 2009

Adam, Sandy and the Weez take a trip out to Alpine Electronics to see some of the Alpine Show Cars created by Steve Brown and crew. The Alpine crew show us some of the wild creations that are used to promote Alpine car and boat audio equipment. Wild cars and even a ‘Show Boat’…

Don’t put that green slime shit in your tires! Everybody should carry a plug kit (link below) and a nine dollar air compressor (link below). You can do a professional repair on the side of the road without having to remove the tire from the car. Takes about 5 min. Once you repair one tire you will be a believer.

You should have told the cop you were about to leave the house but noticed the temp sticker was missing and you are looking for it.

Every episode of Pimp My Ride I’ve ever seen I do nothing but yell at how much of the shit they’re doing is A) Not going to work in a month and B) Can’t be fixed once it is broken. I ran into one of the cars (an ugly ass green VW Buggy) on Ebay and they couldn’t seem to give it away. It’s amazing what people will do to their cars, especially rich “ballers” who do stupid shit to 100K plus cars that only make them less valuable.

Another great podcast! It’s cool to hear Steve talk candidly about the labor, suppliers, costs etc – solid guest.

The site and videos are really coming together into something special. Thanks Adam, Donny and the crew for keeping me entertained with all this excellent content.

adam… popper plays the harmonica, not harp… the harp is stringed instrument .. its what the angels play .. ^_^

chu..prolly oughta leave the entertainment up to the entertainer….. the “harmonica” is a child’s toy, the blues harp or mouth harp can only be expertly played by grown ups…..

Steve Brown is a cool guy. I met him years ago when he had only been with Alpine a few years. He helped me with my car and even picked up some electronics for me a small shop in the bay area and mailed them to me.
