Adam’s Miura
It’s finally here, and not a minute too soon. This episode we haul down to Bobileff Motorcar Company to pick up Adam’s restored Miura. We take you through a bit of the work done on the car as well as a chat with Gary Bobileff who performed the work on the car. In the true spirit of Carolla, this car has been worked out to be a masterpiece work of automotive art. The Miura S has been modified to be more like the SV model, wider fenders, and much of the SV treatment. Some special touches include wider front and rear rims (with matching vintage tires) to fill out the wheel wells. And just for fun we tossed in Adam firing up an ultra rare Lamborghini SV/J (Jota). Check out the picture gallery for the journey…

WOW!! Looks B-E-A-UTIFUL! From the last picture, the red interior looks great! Cant wait to see more! Very nice Adam!!
Such a beautiful car. The pictures aren’t doing that color justice… I can already tell that.
Aceman you definitely need too put your Miura in a car show
This Carcast was awesome. Adam, you’ve got to do Top Gear. Yes, an NBC show might make you a couple extra million, but you’re just going to spend it on cars anyway. If you are the host of Top Gear, you’re going to be driving literally hundreds of amazing cars. Plus, for the rest of your life people are going to want Top Gear guy to take their car for a spin.
Sandy and Donny, you guys rock!
I must say Adam, you certainly have an eye for aesthetics. First the subtle touches on your Aston Martin, and now the details on your Miura. I look forward to learning more from you about these cars. I’m an American land yacht lover, but I admire all cars. I am ignorant about the European stuff, and between guys like you and Leno, I learn a lot more than some egghead coffee table book.
I guess I don’t know the drill. I always have the hardest time finding any videos that are referred to in the podcasts. Can we make it easier to find the videos? There’s only one video listed under “Ace’s videos” and only one under “Ganz’s videos”. Where do I find the videos at, and why are they so hard to find? Please help.
gotta say, I am not a fan of the old school gold rims, but that looks great with the factory blue. Now lets get adams pilot picked up so he can do this to another car!
VIDEO please !!! STOP TEASING !!
What a beautiful car. I can’t wait to see some more pictures of it. I really want to get a good look at the interior. And it didn’t take anywhere near as long as that BMW M3 you were having worked on. At least I think it was an M3. How long did that take?
Also, you dropped $150 thousand on restoring the Miura and they couldn’t give the starter a tune-up before they gave it back to you? What’s up?
Adam as the main host on Top Gear USA would be awesome! By all means, if you get there, do not bash electric cars like they Jeremy Clarkson does. North America needs to get off foreign oil ASAP. We can still have gfast exotic *American* cars like your friend Jason Calacanis’ Tesla Roadster.

Man, that Lambo looks sweet. Can’t wait to see the video with more interior shots.
@Jason:
The drill is that Sandy *always* posts the videos last as they require a bit of editing. So, we have wait a bit to get the videos. These things don’t edit themselves.
lol look how far back the SUV is behind you guys trailing the Miura. I’d be too
where the fuck are the videos for these carcasts???? I dont know the drill obviously, and alot of other people dont either. I wanna see the video- please help. why the fuck is it so hard to find them?? just put them in order on the front page like on the regular podcast site, jesus.
It’s hard to find them because they don’t exist yet, jeffiba.
When they put the video up, the video will be up. They have to edit the video (put it together) before they can do that. Everyone is anxious to see it… settle down. 🙂
Way to go Adam, I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!!
