Nice floors, Ace. How much urethane?

    And the view? You bastard.

You would be healthier with some arch support. Ya know, improve the posture a bit.

Goddamn, Carcast is awesome. SO awesome.

Who the F shot this?? A wide shot for the entire thing with a few cut always (limited) thrown in. Very annoying to watch and listen to as you’re describing all the cool things this car has and we (as the viewer) have to stare at the wide shot, imagining all the details you are describing. You’re in production; you know what a good piece should look like. Pick it up. Don’t put something so sub par on to represent you and your brand…you’re better than that.

    Great looking car…horrible production value.

BTW I shoot this type of piece every day (work out of the NBC lot) so I might be a bit picky. Sorry, but you’re better than this level of production. Just because it’s on the web does not mean it has to look like an 8-year-old shot it. At least you used lav mics and not just the camera mic! My sound guy would approve.

Adam! You have to drive this car. The second fastest way to kill a car is just letting it sit (the fastest way is to race it, which is of course the other end of the scale!) Idle cars decay far faster than cars that get used. I have a ’65 E-type Jaguar (a family heirloom) and I drive it as much as I can. I take it on weekend rallies, 1000+ mile organized vintage car tours, and long road trips. In fact I have driven it ~4000 miles in the past month with a round-trip tour of the entire west coast with my two sons (one kid at a time of course as it is a 2 seater car.)

The more you drive them (within reason) the better they get.

I was driving listening to this segment. when Adam didn’t start the car…I burst into tears. DOOD. and just a comment about the video. i know this is a lo-budget affair but…how about some light in the car as you show us the dashboard? walk around the car? i say this with love…cause you’re my hero for putting out this podcast for almost no money…

i’m just saying you can feature this car again in a month or so…with a little better approach.

RE the tires, you might also consider Avon 275/55 15 V-rated tires. They may rub on the inside rear fender because you are using SV rims on an S, in which case you’ll want a slightly narrower tire. Roger Kraus Racing can hook you up. Sometimes tires only have white paint on one side, so an alternate approach to removing the paint is to mount the painted portion on the inside of the wheel, leaving the black portion outside.

If you ever decide to return to stock all the way around, Longstone is making repro Pirelli cn72s which I’m told are nice. http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/Pirelli-Cinturato.php

I have 2 Miuras myself, so I know the problem with getting tires.

I’ll make sure Adam checks out the Avon’s. I had mentioned it to him but not sure he had time to check out Roger Kraus’ selection. To make the 275’s fit nicely Adam is having to have a bit of custom work done to it, but the way the fitment works out hopefully will not require much work. The rim size on the rear are larger then the stock SV so the bulk of the movement it towards the outer fender which will be SV sized. We will get some pictures of the car up onces it starts to get some paint on the parts. It will all be tight to say the least.

      Thanks a bunch!

You need to speak with Gary Bobeliff who did Adam’s Car. He may be able to get you some info.

      http://www.bobileff.com/

The other Lambo shop that Adam uses is done in Van Nuys, CA on Oxnard Blvd. Not sure of the name but I think the guy that runs it name is Franco.

You’re a lucky bastard Adam! You have got to drive it though. Whats the point of having a car if it never sees the street. You guys rock keep up the good work
