The Miata has been filling this unloved niche for decades. I’m glad to see more options though now that Toyota/Subaru are jumping in, but you guys were killing me when you complained that no one was making small cheap rwd cars… 😛
Aaron does not speak for us.
We bought a Nissan LEAF electric car nine months ago and have never forgot to plug it in. My wife drives it everyday and has never run out of juice. She is the same commute everyday, 20 miles to work, 20 miles back home.
When she gets home, the first thing she does is plug in the charger. Then she unloads the car of groceries, briefcase, or purses. It is automatic for her. She never forgets. I don’t think anyone with an electric car would forget to plug it in. Aaron, if you had an electric car, I bet you would not forget either.
You should try to get one for a week long test. You will probably like it more than you think.
