2010 CarCast Kick Off

January 2, 2010

Happy New Year! Welcome to 2010. Adam Carolla and the Professor Sandy Ganz take you on a tour of the shop where the CarCast magic happens. We take a look at the work area as well as the ‘Playground’. Then we pick up the phone and give the callers a chance to ask some questions. Finally we wrap up with legendary car customizer George Barris who tell the tale of James Dean’s wrecked ‘Little Bastard’.

Happy New Year gents! I would like to take this w/me to work, but there is not the download link yet. Not complaining, I’m just saying… Looking forward as usual.

How do I download? There is no link, just a javascript but that doesn’t help me download to my ipod. Please include a link, I want to enjoy on the road!

There is a big difference between arco and shell. My car has a turbocharged 4 cylinder and i tried arco 91 octane one time and my engine felt like it was dieing. I filled it up with shell 91 and it ran fine…acro is crap!1

Haha, could there be a more unorganized pile of slop than Donny’s mini-bike collection and mini bike wall? Cool warehouse.

It’s Mini-Bike Madness, I have _a_ Mini-Bike and _a_ Go Kart 😉 Cool stuff, just limited time to mess with it these days.

No Shit, Me and the Weez were cutting a 6×6″ beam for some legs for the Jr. Lathe and we were both pretty nervous of that thing. Just looks dangerous, but made very short order of the huge block of wood 😉

Great to have you guys back! As far as the calls from listeners go, my vote is to not take calls from listeners who have particular car problems that they would like you to diagnose. There is Click and Clack for that. I want to hear about bitchin cool fast cars

That is the car’s theme, I love “Coop Stuff”, so does the Weez. My mini-bike has the branding too, but he is one of my favorite pop artist, and have tons of stuff from him. Met Coop and the wife at a couple of rod shows and very nice folks. If you like Coop stuff get his book, has almost every image he has done, worth the $$

Thanks, more stuff coming! Will be posting more info on the Track Day as I start to find a slot at Willow Springs, and other good stuff in the works.

Just cleaning the garage today to get to the Tiger. Not much to report, but the next step is to remove the Dana 44 so I can change the axles and housing ends to allow me to get some normal brakes and 5 bolt axles. Hope your not a Tiger purist, you might not like what’s going to be done 😉 I’ll put up some as soon as I get some work done, but I think the Mustang is going to get some attention first so I can have something to drive at the track…

Love the carcast! Happy 2010 to everyone involved with making such an entertaining show each week.

PS: I’d love an all old school Japanese episode.
