Good Show. Matt was left with a comment right on the edge of his tongue. Almost too much to take in at one session. I wonder why with all the big guys doing inline 6s, he likes the V8? Maybe it is the crankshaft wobble mentioned? Thanks for the work on this show.

This was such a fun show to do. We had over an hour of footage and Jeff at CarCast did a great job cutting this down to let Gale tell his story. I’m cool with my almost one comment 😉

I thought the show was great for the info provided; however, Adam please stop trying to “one-up” the guy your interviewing. it’s your show I got it, but lets face it, Gale Banks is one of the best if not the best in the business when it comes to this type of work. You are a very knowledgeable guy but dang, stop trying to prove how much you know compared to Gale. I love the show and I look forward to seeing more of your shows and seeing what else is out there on the market.

Errr, I just thought the Professor was just trying to show that he was keeping up.

Anyhoo, I emjoyed it and Banks is a class act.

Great show! I agree with Jeff; should have just kicked back and listened to Gale talk. Too much mid-sentence interrupting. You don’t have to constantly interrupt the legend to remind the audience that you’re a knowledgeable car guy. You’re picking up on Adam’s bad habits.

Otherwise awesome carcast and I’m looking forward to the next one.

Great show! I’m a big Banks fan. I miss Adam butting in but Sandy did a great job and it gave Banks a chance to talk. I love where this diesel shit is going. Thanks guys for another great show.

Carcast is a great ,fun show but I wish Ganz would shutup once in a while and let the guest finish his thought. Ganz does this to Adam all the time. Ganz, your very knowledgeable but please stop finishing everyone’s sentence. It makes the show hard to follow. Also, bring back the tool tip and DIY shop projects for simpler repair jobs. Looking forward to next week.

That’s hard to do if you’re a real person (not run your mouth). Take a step back. You’re used to watching actors pretend to do interviews; and they’re very smooth, like diarrhea. Banks appreciated the genuine enthusiasm, IMO.

I agree with the Professor trying to one up everything Banks said. Also, we know you have a Diesel Excursion, you don’t have to bring it up in EVERY podcast.

I always new Banks was great company, but man i had no idea how much they where involved in. That R&D work is were the company will really start standing out even more than they already do! Thanks for offering up a behind the scenes activities from a company that is really proving that there are engineers and then there are banks engineers. I certainly have more respect for your show and Banks. Thanks for getting involved in the parts of companies that speak to who and what they are.

Ganz…I thought you held your own very well. Which probably isn’t easy up against an icon such as Gale Banks, man he is still at the top of his game.

Great podcast guys! I enjoyed the first time you had Gale Banks on the show, and this show came through again. He seems like a really cool guy, who loves what he does, and he does it well! I used to work around the corner from their main HQ in Azusa, but never could get my foot in the door, as I don’t think they were hiring too many engineers at the time. Who knows, maybe one of these days, if I ever move back up to LA.
