Alonzo’s BMW X6

Alonzo’s current ride included his new BMW X6 SAC (Sports Activity Coupe). It was a bit rainy the day of the CarCast, but it cleared up enough to do a walk around the X6.

Please make your audio podcasts like the Jimmy Kimmel slideshow. That is, have the audio with changing slides. Not a video podcast. Some podcasts do this. Not sure how as I am not a podcaster. But Google and iTunes Store podcasts would be good places to research.

Thanks! (hey, at least I don’t make fun of pit stains)

Got to love the Germans. When they have an idea, they follow it through to the end. No days off, and no second thoughts. Perfection is the goal, and the only goal.

    That’s probably why they lost.

    Yes, that’s why they lost.

Just watching episode 3 of the “Car Show” on Hulu. The increase in production values, editing, etc. is startling. Someone changed their mind. Proof there is a design, somewhere. I expect it will be on Fox, not Speed or Meth.

Speaking of the the car show……..yes, its exponentially getting better on a week by week basis.

But after re-listening to this this episode, I’m wondering if Alonzo Boden was ever considered for the token black guy co-host duties on The Car Show instead of John Salle? John is working, but Alonzo is obviously a car guy as opposed to John, however john’s height does allow for some comedic opportunity. Just sayin.

Actually…I was skeptical of John Salle at first…but I think he is doing a great job and has a good perspective on cars that the others do not.

Great episode… but dammit, keep your mouth shut about the 550. When Adam mentioned the midnight blue (my absolute favorite color), I knew you guys were setting me back another ten years before the 550 is mine. Couldn’t we all let it get into the 50s before we all start talking about its value? In 20 years, we will talk about the 550 manual as the last of the classic “20th century” Ferraris. Oh well.

By the way, that is a 575 in the picture.

Simmons had to make you put Z-Bo on the Car Show.

Thanks a lot for having my favorite NBA player on the best show on TV.
