Buddy Crisp’s Rally Fighter and The 2012 Audi S5

January 7, 2012

Adam Carolla and Matt D’Andria chat with Buddy Crisp of Local Motors. Local Motors designs and builds cars through an online community through “crowdsourcing.”

The Rally Fighter has a 6.2 liter GM LS3 430hp with a tubular steel frame and automatic transmission. The car has 18″ of wheel travel in the front and 20″ of travel in the back. Then our bonus car is the 2012 Audi S5, featuring a V8 and a six speed transmission.

I like the idea, but plastic just destroys it.

No plastic swoopy shit. Swoopy shit doesn’t work unless you can see why. And even then, the question is “why so much plastic”?

Actually that’s the problem. Did they want a concave chassis for clearance? Because that’s not working. It looks unfinished.

    Just heard the news.

FUCK Speed channel. Nascar has been DOA since Dale died. Indy has been over since Rick Mears’ days.

We want DTM, BTC, Aussie V8 supercars, Baja 1000, World of Champions, and more tech/how to shows and of course “The Car Show”

Adam’s Tshirt color coordinates with the Rally Fighter – nice touch.
Where did Adam’s cars go when the studio remodel took over the garage space?

Thanks for talking about the Top Gear segment. When Tanner broke the Rally Fighter and they opened the hood, my wife would not stop yelling about the ‘cold air’ style intake and how someone who knows cars would make such a huge oversight it driving it through water.
BTW- shifter boots remind me of a scrotum; just kinda scrunched up and not very elegant.
